Graduating Kelowna Rockets defenceman Matt Barberis will continue his hockey career with the Carleton Ravens in the fall.

Kelowna acquired the 21-year-old at this season’s trade deadline. He suited up in 179 games during his Western Hockey League career with the Vancouver Giants and Rockets, scoring 21 goals and adding 65 assists.

Carleton plays in the Ontario University Athletics conference of USports.

The Ravens (18-5-0-5) qualified for the University Cup championship tournament this past season.
