Guitars and musical equipment worth more than $12,000 was stolen from a storage locker, Kelowna police say.

Two female thieves seemed to know exactly what they were looking for when they gained entry to a storage locker and stole several expensive guitars.

The masked and hooded women stole four guitars and musical equipment worth more than $12,000 from a locker at the U-Haul storage facility on Old Okanagan Highway in West Kelowna on Nov. 12.

The most expensive guitar was an Ernie Ball Music Man Stingray RS, worth $3,400.
